In reference to the song you played by the Bankester family - we had them sing at our church in January and they are GREAT! We would love to hear more from them. Their story is very interesting.
They also sing local festivals and every year at Silver Dollar City. They will be opening for the ISAACs at our church on Sunday, April 26. They will also be playing at the IBMA Official Showcase - Nashville, TN Sept 28 - Oct 1. They were one of 13 groups picked to perform out of over 120 that auditioned.
They even sang the National Anthem at several SIU Saluki Basketball games this year!
The group consists of the Mom and Dad and their four daughters and the oldest daughter's husband.
Here is their website: http://www.bankesterfamily.com/
check them out and go hear them if you have a chance - you won't be disappointed!
